Sedges Here the lake water has more oxygen and more minibeasts. Triangular Stemmed Sedges grow along the lake margin. Nearby we find a self-sown Yew tree, its not very big but they do grow slowly. The seeds in the berries of this tree are poisonous to us, but provide a feast for birds in the Autumn. | |
