River Stour We have to make great efforts here to clean up the rubbish which some people leave behind. The Stour is still a very clean river and there is a huge population of Mayfly Nymphs in mid-summer. This is a popular place for fishermen who fish for Pike, Carp, Bream amongst other fish common in the river. Wild flowers including Thistle, Nettle and Great Hairy Willowherb grow in enormous numbers on the riverbank. | |
